I had a good experience staying at this facility even though it is not a B& B. it was ideally suited to my requirements. Therefore i have no hesitation in recommending this amenity to others that may be looking for a pleasant experience at an affordable price. Peter.
Our five night stay at Roberta's Cottage was wonderful. The owner Leslie was very welcoming and accommodating, she went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. Our four year old absolutely loved the Putt Putt mini gold course and had lots of room to play in the lovely grounds. He also had fun feeding the goats. We stayed in the cabin which suited our needs, it is fully self contained and which is a bonus when traveling with a child. We are looking forward to visiting Winchelsea in the future and staying at Roberta's cottage.
We had a very unsatisfactory B&B experience here, sadly. We were not greeted on arrival, there was no welcome message, so we found our way around the house. The self-serve 'continental breakfast' consisted of toast and peanut butter/vegemite/jam. Plus of course cereals. We found the tiny en suite toilet behind a cupboard door - very little space. And it was dusty. No stars for this place.
